Marko's Gear
My first electric guitar was a Hagstrom Semi-Hollow Body. I couldn't afford the real thing - a Gibson ES-335 - at the time. A couple of years later I bought a white Fender Stratocaster (I wonder, why?) and subsequently a Gibson Les Paul in Wine Red until I settled with a Washburn Tour 24 Chicago for many years. Maybe not as fancy as the other models, but it suited my small hands. It was only in 2016, when I discovered the world of Fernandes Sustainer Guitars (thanks to Steve Hackett). Click through the gallery and learn more about my favourite guitars and my amp.
The two guitars I use most of the time: The Taylor 214ce SB DLX and the Fernandes FR-ELT FLAT NATURAL.
I had my heart set on the Fernandes FR-ELT SUS. But I couldn't find a dealer in Europe let alone Switzerland who sells this specific guitar. Neither did Fernandes Guitars at the time. So in the end I took the risk and ordered it from an online store in Japan.
My latest acquisition: The Line 6 HX Stomp, a professional-grade guitar processor that delivers the sound of a huge amount of amps, cabs, and effects in an ultra-compact pedal.
